BIRTH DOULA SUPPORT

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our time together begins during your pregnancy where we will get to know each other and explore your dreams and concerns surrounding birth and postpartum. Support is tailored to suit your individual needs, and will include the following: 

• Unlimited support via phone, text, video, and email during your pregnancy, up to one year postpartum

• Three prenatal visits lasting 90 minutes each

• Client resource binder with worksheets, handouts, and local resources

• Guidance in writing your birth preferences & planning for postpartum 

• Overview of comfort measures & positions for labor, including hands-on practice

• On-call availability beginning at 38 weeks gestation until your birth

• Continuous emotional, physical, and informational support during labor & birth

• Immediate postpartum and feeding support until you feel comfortable

• Pictures and video if desired 

• One postpartum visit lasting 60-90 minutes

• Qualified secondary doula for all births

• Referrals and resources as needed
